  • Introduction

 

      1. Intro Sentence: Beauty has the power to capture emotions.
      2. Can beauty help us become better people—as individuals and as a society?

      5. Thesis: Although beauty is subjective and can range from laughter to nature, beauty is something that elicits the freedom of human emotion.  

 

  • First Body – Sense vs Form

 

      1. Intro Sentence: Beauty needs the harmony between the sense drive and the form drive.
      2. Sense: lives in the moment and seeks immediate gratification, Abstract
      3. Form: delayed, more rational

 

  • Second Body – My own version of beauty

 

      1. Intro Sentence: Beauty comes from finding laughter in all that you can while there is so much hate in the world.

  • Fourth Body – How does your understanding of beauty intersect with your community’s understanding of beauty?

 

      1. Intro Sentence: It is beautiful to find relief from the problems that life throws at us.
        1. Feelings of stress vs peacefulness of nature

        3. Connect how emotions are affected by beauty

    1. Help us become better people in society
    2. Consider if you believe that beauty serves a purpose for the individual, community, or both.
